ABOUT
Crossroads began in 2007 to offer a low cost, high quality option for working parents. Our curriculum is carefully designed to support our students' growth. All activities are tied to PA State Educational Standards and our curriculum ties into WSSD Curriculum, as well as student interest.
At Crossroads we know that students learn best when they are actively engaged. We work very hard to ensure that all students are having fun, learning, playing, and working together as part of a community. At Crossroads your child isn't just another name on the attendance list, they are our extended family.
Our Lead Teachers all have degrees in Education, as well as many years of experience working with children. Our Assistant Teachers and Aides all have a minimum of 2 years experience and training.
Our program is liscenced by DPW and meets or exceeds "High Quality Standards" as defined by the National AfterSchool Association.
Our Mission Statement:
To respond to a critical need for Before and After school care in our community.
To support the growth of the whole child- intellectually, socially, and spiritually.
To provide nutritious snacks and breakfasts, and encourage healthy eating habits.
To encourage the academic advancement of children.
To extend the mission of the congregation, specifically: to care through outreach, especially to families of young children.

Our Partnership with the Church:
Students of ALL faiths are welcome here at Crossroads. We include holidays and celebrations from our students' beliefs and cultures whenever we are able. (We LOVE it when families can come in to share traditions!!)
We do have a partnership with the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. As such we participate and assist with Church events that are geared towards families and our community, such as making decorations and props for events like Breakfast with San and other special activities.
In addition, the Church's Pastor frequently pops in to say hello and comes in to talk to the students about God, helping others, and being kind to one another.
